Department of commerce is receiving a large number of representations from the members of trade regarding various problems being faced by them at various ports in exporting their goods. The Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce had desired that regular meetings should be held by the port authority with exporters, EPCs, Trade Associations in order to redress their grievances.

In this regard, it has been informed by Kandla Port Trust that Port Users Meetings are being regularly conducted at Kandla Port Trust. All the member exporters are advised to attend the Port Users Meeting regularly in order to resolve any problems being faced by member of Trade
